Next Saturday I’m going dress shopping at David’s Bridal with my Mom and future sisters. I looked on the website and figured out a list of dresses I want to try on. What is a realistic number to try on in an hour appointment?

When I went, I only tried on about 4. Luckily, the 4th one was the final one! When I was the Maid/Matron of Honor for my best friend, she probably did 4-6 an hour. If you want to try on more dresses, you can’t hang out in the dress for long after you try it on. If you already know it’s not the one then get right out of it. No point in wasting time in something you don’t love! I found myself wasting a lot of time in a dress that I didn’t really like discussing it with my friends and family. You also have to remember that a decent amount of time is being spent actually trying to pick out dresses to try on, and then getting in and out of the dress. Don’t stress about how many you will get to try on, you can make future appointments if necessary. Just enjoy he experience cause you only get to pick your wedding dress once! 🙂

When I went to David’s Bridal, I was able to try on 7 dresses in an hour. That said, I went by myself, and didn’t have to spend time showing everyone each dress and having a discussion. I just put on a dress I liked, stood in front of the mirror for a few seconds, spun around so that I could get a glance at all angles and I was done. My salesperson seemed to want to ask me a shit ton of questions about how I felt in each dress, what I liked and didn’t like, and I almost think she was trying to get me to hang out in them longer, but I was on a mission. I answered her questions on the way back to dressing room.
