Our session was about 2.5 hours — between two shooters, we got about 600 pictures, but after weeding out the ones where one or both of us is making an unfortunate/unflattering face, we had about 150 great ones left!

We had one photographer and two locations.  All total we spent about 2 hours and got a disc of about 200 photos.  She took more than 400 but she weeded the good ones out for us.

We are getting our pictures taken in May and we get a 30 minute session which is free.

In about a 30-40 minute session, we had over 300 pictures (keep in mind, there were several shots of the same poses, to ensure our eyes were open, etc). After the edits and everything, about 40 were "frame worthy."

This totally depends on your photographer. You have to talk to them ahead of time so you know what you are getting.

I usually shoot 30 to 45 min, sometimes longer and give them about a dozen great shots. This varies a lot from photographer to photographer. I shoot many more photos than the dozen I chose as final proofs but, I only select the best from the bunch to present.

It’s more of a portrait session with me. Why would you want 300 portraits? In my mind the goal is to have some nice prints you can frame for the reception & use on thank you cards etc.
