i also did 10 extra, but i got 20 extra envelopes (and i’m sure glad i did!)

@Mrs. Meowerson:  Agree with this. I did invites for a friend with fancy embossing and went through a few envelopes getting the design right.

I ordered 20 extras just in case something happened and glad I did because I was forgetting a few people that I know won’t be able to make it but need their invitation. But I agree with all the PPs get extra envelopes just in case. 

I wrote the wrong name or wrong address in a couple and had to redo them.

My invites came in batches of 100 so I will have around 20 extra. I know I will already have to toss two due to a now pending divorce and a new engagement.

If you are making them and not ordering them 10 should be plenty for now.

My calligrapher requested 25 additional envelopes, so I ordered those on top of my 125 invitations.  (I think I probably had at least 20 extra invitations.)

@bubbly234:  I read somewhere that you’re suppose to order 20% extra.
