I am having 3 different flowers in my bouquet (as well as my bridesmaids’ bouquets). I have chosen red anemones, red ranunculus and red roses for mine and the bridesmaid’s will be carrying the same flowers, but in a cream/white color (all silk flowers). We are trying to keep on a low budget and was wondering what your opinions are on how many of each flower in my bouquet would be enough? I’m not looking for it to be over the top, just something that looks nice. I’m assuming the bridesmaids bouquets will be a tab bit smaller with fewer flowers than mine. Any thoughts on how many flowers would make a bouquet full, but not too big?? Thanks!

I just bought the supplies for my silk flowers. For my bridesmaids I gave them 3 daisies, 3 roses, and one hydrangea with two leaf stems. I don’t think bridesmaids have to be huge or anything. And for my bouquet I got one hydrangea, two dahlias, two calla lilies, four daisies, and 3 leaf stems. The key to making the bouquet look fuller is to use at least one big flower and then maybe smaller, less open flowers as accents around it. That’s what I did, and it saved me quite a bit of money. Here is a pic of my mock up for one of the bridesmaids bouquets.

I haven’t done dishes yet, so excuse my messy sink in the background, haha.

@orangeflame08: I would do at least 12 flowers. I am going to do at least 12 flowers because I don’t want to carry 5lb bouquet. My bm will have small ones around 6 flowers.

@orangeflame08: i had three different types of flowers in mine. I had dendrobium orchids, roses and mini calalilys. I think you can have quite a few different flowers as long as they look nice together. Your florist should be able to tell you some recommendations

Thanks for the responses! I am doing them myself to save money, so I don’t have a florist to ask. I’ve seen bouquets with these 3 flowers bunch together, so I already know what it looks like. I think I’m just going to buy a bunch and put them together. Once I see how it looks and I play around with some in vases, I will order more for centerpieces and more for bouquets if I think they need more.
Both of your bouquets are beautiful!!
Here’s what I’m going for. The second I saw this picture, I fell in love with it!! I just don’t know if I want it as big as this one.
