Hey everyone,
Any comments or feedback would be appreciated. My Fiance and I are having a cocktail reception because we would like to have more of a party/lounge atmosphere. Complete with proper seating, lounge seating and cruisers. I have been struggling over the catering choices because we are having both passed hor’deuves (sp) and food stations PLUS a late night station. How many would you guys recommend besides the passed appys and the late night station should we have? Is three enough? five?
I want enough food but it is also to be a party like feel?
Thanks again eveyrone!

For a 110 person cocktail hour we had 2 stations and passed Hors d’oeuvres.
So for a cocktail reception I think you will need 4 stations and passed hor d’ouevres.
Will there be room for dancing? (Dancing equals less time for eating)
What type of food is served at the late night station? What time is the late night station?
How long is the cocktail reception?

We are going to be having our wedding ceremony and reception at an art gallery. There will be various areas to sit/stand (sofas, chaises etc) and of course a large dance floor. We also will be having a candy bar and I was thinkign of another fun sweets/muchy table (just our thing) As well its open bar. The late night station we were thinking something along the lines of mini sliders/poutine/mac and cheese, kind of like late night after bar food. Our ceremony will start at 630 then the reception will begin at around 715-730 and goes until about 1am. The late night station would come out at about 1130pm.
Thanks again,

Based on what you wrote, 4 stations is necessary.
What type of stations are offered? Seafood? Italian?
