dreamreve1 : how long until you’re 30? I would have loved to do that but kept going back to the same places and so decided to go for 40 before 40 lol. I like the ‘challenge’ because it’s made me go to places I might not otherwise have been to. I plan to do the same every decade after ie 50 before 50, 60 before 60, and so on

FutureMrsBex : not as difficult as being on a big isolated island in the middle of nowhere like Australia 😜. Flights are crazy expensive coz they’re all so long!
I know I’m forgetting some, but my quick count is 23. Ask me how many I’ve been to since I had a kid (ZERO!) 🤣. 40 would be really impressive! We used to try and average two overseas holidays a year.
Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Maldives, UAE, USA (only Hawaii, probably doesn’t count!), UK, Ireland, Russia, Bulgaria, Serbia, Slovakia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Denmark, Belgium.

barbie86 : 3 more years! Our goal in the next year or so is Denmark, Sweden, Portugal, Malta, Belgium, and Croatia.
We will also do Australia soon since my brother in law lives there.
I am also dying to get to Asia.

I feel like it would be fun to do a spin-off of this thread, where you have to guess where a bee is from based on which countries they’ve visited.
i haven’t visited too many. As a Canadian, it’s very expensive to travel to basically any country other than the US.
ive been to 6. Mexico, China, the U.S, French Polynesia, Australia, and New Zealand. I would love to add more to my list but have to pay off all of my school debts first!

Ooh fun poll! I love to travel and constantly think about how I need to step up my game.
By the rules of must be at least a 24 hour stay I am only at 3 – Mexico, Dominican Republic, Spain. I have also been to Jamaica, Cayman Islands, and Portugal but as day trips not overnight stays.
In the past month I have taken trips to 2 new states in the US that I’ve never been to and I’m hoping to finally add Canada to my list this year.
Growing up my family were not big travelers at all so this is all coming from within the past 10 years as I started to travel on my own. Gotta keep going!

I was in Canada once for about 8 hours, even then I don’t consider it that much of a foreign country. One day I’ll get out and travel! For now I’m broke.

Canada, Mexico, UK, France, Switzerland, Italy, Vatican City, Croatia, Montenegro, Greece, Monaco, Spain, Hong Kong, Singapore, Malaysia, British Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, St. Kitts, Antigua, Barbados, Martinique. Plus a few more Caribbean islands when I was a kid, so at least 22?
Really want to go to Australia/NZ or all over Northern Europe next, but I think we’ll wait until LO is more than just a couple months old for that…!

16: USA, Mexico, Costa Rica, Cuba, Dominican Republic, Spain, Portugal (well, the Azores actually but it’s technically Portugal), Andorra, France, the UK (England and N. Ireland), Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy, and Austria.
i just wanted to point out that with the 24 hr rule the Vatican City is a difficult one for anyone to be able to list.. even ambassadors to the Holy See stay in their embassies in Italy, lol!
