Could you DIY some notecards to supplement your other great gift ideas?    I’m a big fan of homemade goodies!

One of my showers was thrown by a bunch of ladies on my fiance’s side.  I went to a local jewelry shop and got little beaded bracelet sets, different for each person, and the shop wrapped them all in little gift bags with tissue paper. It made a really pretty presentation and made a small-ish gift look very special.  All of the ladies were very excited and liked the gifts. They were also very surprised that I gave them anything at all, so i am sure your hostesses will be appreciative of anything you give.  Another cute idea is to go to an antique shop (or even HomeGoods or a place like that) and get inexpensive, pretty teacup and saucer sets and wrap them up with a few tea bags and some cookies and write something about helping them relax after planing your beautiful shower.  I think you could do either of these thinks for around $15. Have fun!

I will be honest, I didn’t give a gift to my party hostesses (also my bridesmaids).  I was grateful for the party, but I just don’t think someone should give a gift to the people who are throwing a party for you (where you are getting gifts).  I thanked them profusely and gave them great gifts the day of the wedding along with a really nice thank you note.
