I have 5 bridesmaids, me, my mom, grandmother and aunt. (9 people eek!) who are going to get their hair done on the big day. I’ve read a lot of posts about trying to find a balance between getting ready with a cushion in case something goes wrong, but also not getting ready TOO early so you’re still fresh =)
We have 2 hair stylists so far, I was thinking of adding a third, that way we could all have our hair done in groups of 3 with three 45 min. blocks from 10:45am – 1:00pm. (We need to leave at 2pm to get pictures done).
So my question: how many people are having their hair done? How many hair stylists did you have? And then: how many hours before your “before pictures” or ceremony start time did you start getting ready?

@HeLovesDogs: We had 2 hair stylists for 9 of us as well, and it went okay! We started at 8am and I was getting into my dress around 1, so maybe for you that means one more stylist?

We had one stylist for 4 of us, and everyone was done in 3 hours. She also did my makeup, so 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man updos, 1 complicated bridal ‘do and bridal makeup in 3 hours.
We started hair at 7am. First look was at 10:30 and we were right on time.

I have two for myself and six maids. We are roughly planning to have this done between 10 and 3 with lunch and breakfast served (and mimosas and coffee of course!) Everyone is also doing thier own make up when their hair is not being done. I’m also thinking of adding matching essie nail polish to their bridemaids kits so we can all paint our toes while we hang out and get prettied up. This is also when I plan to give them thier bridemaids gifts 🙂
