My man watches too much football. Every time there’s a game on, he’s watching. He has left wedding receptions to “catch the game” at a nearby bar. And I’m purposely having a long engagement just so I don’t have my wedding during football season. Please tell me I’m not the only one.
I just asked him how many hours of football he thinks he watches a week. His answer: 30 hours.
That’s almost a full time job!

I voted but it’s not Football …. it’s basketball. I’ll trade you??? Do you know how many games there are a week? Do you know they have fantasy basketball also? nevermind how freakin long the season is. I feel your pain! lol

I am the football addict in the house. I have to watch every game, every night it’s on.
Yes… I know I have a problem. 🙂
Fiance doesn’t mind though, he just goes in the other room and plays video games.

about 4-12…before it used to just be college football…but now that there is Fantasy Football he watches the NFL games too…ugh.

He only really watches our college game live, so really we see the same amount (~4 hours a week) though we will pay attention to the score when our team is out of town and I don’t have to go.

Fiance would chew off his own arm before watching a football game. Ok, maybe thats a bit much but he is not into sports, whatsoever. Tech TV on the other hand…
Gotta love my geek! =)

He will always watch his Giants play. On Sunday one of the TVs will be on football but no one is actively watching it. I say he catches an average of one game on weekdays. He will never watch college football.

I just asked him how much he thinks he watches and he said…”Ohh, I dunno….like 5 or 6 hours?”
Theres no way lol
He watched football all day today, and then college football yesterday, and then lets not forget mondays and thursdays lol

If the Steelers are on, he will watch at least most of it. I like football and baseball way more than Fiance does. They just aren’t “exciting” enough for him. He’ll watch soccer or hockey all day though! We were camping (CAMPING!!) with his family when the World Cup was on this summer and he and his sister’s Boyfriend or Best Friend camped out in front of the trailer to watch Germany play.

i voted 40+ because it IS his full time job (he coaches) and he watches any other game (college and pro) that he can!

My fiance would watch 3-4 hours a week if it weren’t for me. I probably watch 20 hours or so… over Thanksgiving weekend I think I watched for four days straight. He watches a little more because I insist on having it on every single time there is a game. I am a total football addict. I need to go buy groceries but don’t want to leave and miss some of the Sunday night game… it’s not my team but Steelers/Ravens should be awesome. I love defense!

@Entangled: Glad to see another football nut! Those aren’t my teams either, but I’m still totally stoked for that game tonight!

I love football (too bad my Gators were terrible this year) so we watch together. I’d say 15-20 hrs a week.

@TinyTina: I know! If there’s a game on, I turn it on the second I walk in the door (and I get really excited if my fiance already has it on). I can’t help it – there’s only a few months a year of football so I’d better maximize. I am psyched for tonight, but even more psyched for Jets/Patriots tomorrow – it’s why I wanted to buy food for the week TONIGHT so I don’t miss tomorrow’s game. Go Jets!

I LOVE football. I actually watch more football than the Darling Husband because he generally works on the weekends. On a good week, I can watch at least 15 hrs of the game. I LOVE football season and I am really sad when football goes away
