As I log on to catch up on some work tonight, I just thought I’d ask how many hours per week you all work. How many workaholics do we have out there?
PS – I’ve been cutting back lately because I’m getting a bit burnt out. And I don’t feel the least bit guilty.

It sort of depends…I don’t have a set schedule, so some weeks I am only in the office 20 hours or so, and some weeks I am there for 60 plus. I do a lot of work from home though, but I didn’t factor that in. I selected the average, 35-45 hours per week.

Other? I’m a part-timer at 20 hours a week since I’m a grad student.

Oops, I forgot a 0-25 option.

Approximately 50 hours a week. Never less. Sometimes more.

I picked what I will be working once I start teaching…I will start full-time student teaching in Jan, and with any luck I’ll have a full time job come Sept.

A normal 40 hour week for me.

I used to have a job I loved and worked longer hours. Now i’m at a pay the bills job … and we don’t get overtime or comp time .. so 40 hours is it.

I own my business, so my schedule varies depending on my clients needs.

I’m a registered nurse, and since there are limited full time jobs in Vancouver right now, I work casual. I get nearly full-time hours most of the time, but lately the hours haven’t been as good. Since my schedule is all over the place, I average about 36 hours per week.

I’m in the 50-60 hours a week bracket. When I have an easy work week I try to get leave around 40-45 hr. It doesn’t happen often because leaving work early really only hurts myself.

I’m unemployed at the moment. I couldn’t tell you how many hours I put into it, but I spend a lot of time writing, and I also volunteer/work on projects/job hunt/do church-related stuff. It sucks not having a source of income, but I appreciate this Me Time and make the best of it.

I voted 25-35, but that is the offical job. I am starting up my own thing on the side, so with that included its closer to 50
