Add as many or as little items as you want.

If your registry “sells out”, people can always get money or gift cards.

Sometimes people send gifts without attending. *I* personally have not (I only send a gift if I attend), but perhaps people who wanted to to come but didn’t for any reason might send a gift card or see what’s on the registrie(s) afterwards.

We registered at Bed Bath & Beyond and had like 20 pages of items!  We also registered at Macy’s but only had about 4 pages. I think it’s better to put more items so you give people a nice selection to choose from.

Keep in mind to register for things you will use.  If that means replacing or upgrading somethign you already have I think thats better then something you wont use.  With a smaller wedding like that chances are you will have them over to your house after the wedding and they want to know you are using thier gift 🙂

Register for what you want, don’t base it off numbers. I registered at two places with over 100 items and got about half of the items from each registry with about 38 people that attended my shower. Register for what you know you will use because then when you open it you will be excited and not feel the need to return it. Some people will buy you things not on your registry most likely.
