Me too! But DH only wants 2. I’m hoping for a compromise of 3 but will be more than happy with just 2.

I’ve always said I want to see what one is like before being settled on a final number, but honestly once I have kids I’d like a swarm. Like, four. Is four too many? (I’ll be honest, it’s pretty unlikely, I’m 35 this year and we’re not getting married until next year, so I am not sure I have time for four unless we get at least one multiple birth!)

Zero. But I’m potentially open to one.

Zero human kids. I want as many fur-kids as I have love and funds for.

At least 2, possibly 3. DH is pretty firmly on the 2 train…he very much doesn’t want an only child (he’s really close to his sibling), and says he’d be hard pressed to go for 3. We haven’t even had our first yet, so we’ll see…I could be maxed out at 2, DH could desperately want a third, who can say before you even get started?

I suspect part of it is how you grow up. I’m from a family of 3 kids and love it…it’s small enough that you never feel lost in the shuffle, but big enough that there’s always something going on. DH is from a family of 2 kids.

I have one and I believe we only want to raise a child at a time.

Dh and I agreed on 3 before we were ever married. We were lucky and had no issues TTC, and had two boys and a girl – 3 children in exactly 4 years (first and last have the same birthday).

We just started TTC and right now I’m leaning pretty hard toward one and done. But I am hypothetically open to a second if it feels right. Two is my absolute mad though, I definitely do not want more than that! When I picture the figure though I typically just picture one.

I’m open to having an unlimited number of dogs though! It’s my dream to foster once we have our own place and aren’t renting.

I have one on the way. Would like 2 more! The plan is to  have the first 2 very close in age then take a 5-6 year break and have the third.
