I have 5 bridesmaids already chosen and informed. I think 5 is a nice number, but that 6 is do-able too, so I left one space open if I want to ask someone else.
I am thinking of asking my Future Sister-In-Law as well, but since the wedding is not until Nov 2012, I don’t want to jump on it too soon. Plus, Future Sister-In-Law and I have actually never met face to face! We are Facebook friends and she and I are literally the same person (same sense of humor, style, attitude, etc… which I have mentioned to my fiance and he thinks it is weird that he is marrying his sister. haha).
Anywho. How many bridesmaids did/do you have? Do you wish you had more or less or was it juuuust right?

We have 4 Bridesmaids (though one lives across the country and I think she’s still a maybe), one 13 yr old junior Bridesmaid or Best Man, one female usher, one male usher, one flower girl, and 5 groomsmen. Our wedding will be about 130 people total. I think you should choose whoever you want and if you want a bigger bridal party, just go for it. The only thing you have to remember is that it is more people you have to plan around and more gifts that you will be buying them. You should try to hang out with your Future Sister-In-Law a few times, and then it would be really nice to ask her to be in the wedding if you like spending time together, since she’ll be your family.

4. I think anymore than 5 is asking a lot of too many people.

I have 4 as well…seems like the right number to me

I would really like to have 3, but more than likely I will be forced to have my Future Sister-In-Law as one so 4.

6. I am really happy with my number. I don’t think it’s too many at all.
I have 2 MOHs (2 best friends from high school), 2 besties from college, my aunt and my Future Sister-In-Law.
I think it’s a great idea for you to leave that slot open for your Future Sister-In-Law. Hopefully you will get to meet her in person / get to know her better. I’m not that close to my Future Sister-In-Law, but having her involved in my bridal party has deff brought us closer. 🙂

I have 5. My sister, FI’s sister, and three of my good friends.

I’ll have 5.. although part of me wishes it was 3 or 4. Not because I don’t love my girls, but because we’re having about 100 people at the wedding and I feel like 5 is just soo many people standing up front!

I have 5, it was supposed to be 3, then my fiance wanted to ask our other really good friend, so then I asked another and we were at 4. Then one of my girls had to back down because she worked for an event planner and had a wedding she HAD to work the day of my wedding so I asked another friend to do it instead. THEN she quit her job and she is just so important to me that I wanted her in it, so my fiance had become close to my best guy friend from high school and so he asked him to be his 5th. So now we are at 5!
