I was engaged on 12/4/14 and the wedding will be on 8/4/14, that puts wedding planning at a little over 7 months. How many months do you have for planning your wedding?

14 months total. Which is toooooo long for me, because I am such a planner I keep going over and changing things and trying to improve.
I’m going to suggest adding an 18 mo, and a 2+ years, as there are definitely a lot of longer engagement bees out there! Fiance and I will have been engaged for 21 months! ๐
Fiance proposed on 12/7/13, and we’re getting married 12/13/14. So right at a year. I’m actually trying to get most of the actual planning done before May-ish, so I have time to chill and not be super stressed out about everything.
We were right at six months. Engaged on 6/27/13 and married on 12/31/13. Why wait? ๐
We got engaged 4/1/13 and are getting married 5/24/14, so almost 14 months. ๐
It seemed like so far away last year, but now it’s starting to creep up!
We got engaged Aug 25th 2011 and married Sept 21st 2012 so we had about 13 months…
Although I’m sure I could have put together a fabulous wedding in less time, I wish I would have had longer to work through my decisions and bridesmaid drama and had just a more relaxed time of it all.
22 months. Pretty boring after we decided just to do a private (us only) wedding at a resort in Jamaica.
19 months, way too long, it sucks. If I wasn’t in school it would probably be like 6-8 months.
Wedding is June 14, 2014, I started legit planning last week. We had to wait for his leave to be approved for June.
Got engaged May 7th 2013, wedding is May 17th 2014. So right about 12 months.
I chose a shorter engagement because I knew we were going to get married in a beautiful hotel that would do almost ALL of the work for us- catering, set up, tear down, some coordinating, etc. Plus, I don’t like the idea of long engagements for multiple reasons, but mainly for me, the longer I wait the more stressed out I become because there are endless amount of wedding ideas you can add!
We’ll have been engaged for 29 months on our wedding day ๐ I’ve enjoyed having a long engagement. It’s given us time to plan things without stress and get our first choice of vendors. I’m definitely excited to be married though aha.
Engaged 4/2012 married this 6/2014
We’ll be engaged 19 months but I’d say a little less than that for planning since we didn’t meet with vendors right away. I guess we did plan in some ways, though, since we made a preliminary guest list and hammered out our budget.
