I have a white dress for my bridal shower this weekend. I have white dresses/outfits for my bachelorette party. I was looking up white rehearsal dinner dresses, but I don’t know if that’s too much white. I found a white maxi dress I like, but I don’t want it to look like a wedding dress.
Did you wear/are you wearing white to all of your events?

Nope. The only white dress I’ve ever owned was my wedding gown.

- Wedding: April 2017 - City, State
I wore jeans and a t-shirt to my rehearsal and to the dinner. Then again our rehearsal dinner was at a BBQ place. I didn’t think it was something that warranted getting dressed up for.

I am planning on doing something similar! 🙂 My wedding dress is not white, but blush. So I am planning on wearing blush/light-pink dresses to my events (including my rehearsal dinner)

I wore a white dress to my rehearsal and I was so glad I did!! I say go for it! You’re the bride and you should stand out <3

I wore a white maxi with little flowers on it, it was blowing in the wind for rehersal and it was so pretty! I say definitely go white!!

I am wearing a white lacy sundress to both of my bridal showers (I had one thrown by my family, then his is throwing a shower for both of us out of state since most of his family lives far from the wedding location). I’m wearing a white dress for bachelorette. And I’ll be wearing a white jumpsuit for the rehearsal. Idk, I don’t care if it’s too much white–this is a tradition I’m fond of, so I’m doing it! I feel like that’s the real question here. Do you value the tradition of bride wearing white to wedding events? Then wear white, regardless of whether it’s “too much.” Do you not-care? Then wear a different color. It’s your wedding!

I wore white to all my pre-wedding events! Although my bridal shower dress was floral with a white background. Especially for my rehearsal dinner I am glad I did, by that point I was sooo excited I was glad to be wearing something that screamed IM THE BRIDE! lol

It’s a recent trend that I find silly. But since it IS a trend, that means a lot of people probably think I’M silly for thinking it’s silly. If you look ok in white and you can find that many white dresses that you like and feel good in, it’s harmless.

I didn’t have a shower or a bachelorette, but I did wear a short, non-bridal white dress to my welcome dinner (all guests invited, so I guess not a ‘rehearsal dinner’). Not a great picture, but here it is from the dressing room:

Yes, I wore a white dress for my rehearsal dinner. I found my dress at BHLDN on sale, and couldn’t resist.

I wore white to our engagement party. I wore white to our bridal shower and I wore white to our rehearsal dinner

I always think the more white dresses the better! I would want everyone I encounter to know I’m getting married, but that’s just me 😂

Wear it girl! I think it woud look great and almost all of the rehersal/engagement/showers I have gone to have all had the brides in white dresses. Its your chance to definitely stand out!

I wore white to my bridal shower, bachelorette party and will for my rehearsal dinner. I wore a burgundry dress to my engagement party only because I couldn’t find a white dress I liked. I don’t understand why anyone would think this “trend” is silly. It’s a color. I sometimes feel like wearing all white looks too bridal on me, but since I’m the bride, I’m taking full advantage.
