We stayed until the end. I would have felt kind of bad leaving all my guests early, to be honest!

We are planning to stay right til the end. A friend who just got married did the send-off exit so she could get the photos, and then they came back and partied more after the photog left, so you could always do a fake exit if you really want.

We left slightly early, about half off our guests were gone. We were going straight to our honeymoon and had to get my step kids situated and back to their bio mom.

We are doing the sparkler/car exit thing…this may sound weird, but since I already know the night will go by too fast, I just want as many neat varied pictures as possible to look back on. Also the idea of being there when the last people leave makes me kind of sad for some reason, like I don’t want to witness their decision to leave… but that’s just my issue I guess, I’m over sensitive to somethings. We just got back from a wedding where the B&G stayed till the end, and it seemed very romantic for them to be the last on the dance floor. I can see it being great either way depending on the emotions either of you has about what the end of a good party feels like.

we stayed until the very end – not intentionally, but we got caught up talking to people and before I knew it, it was time to go for everyone!

We were in the last 20 people to go, but we only had the limo for so long, and our photog wanted a couple of extra outside pictures!

@imagine8204:  We stayed until the absolute end. It was never even a question for me as I have never seen the bride and groom leave early. TBH it seems a little strange to me whenever I see those exit pictures because your guests are there celebrating you and you’re the hosts and you leave early?

We also had to help clean up the centerpieces. I’m sure our family and friends would have taken care of it but I didn’t want to stick anyone with that and I also didn’t want to pay for something that I knew would take 10 minutes.

My friends did a sparkler picture without an actual exit. They just had the bridal party go outside after it got dark and they got some gorgeous pictures. It only took about 10 minutes and then we all joined the party again!

Our plan is to stay to the end and lead the way to the after party at the bar. We love a good wedding reception and you bet we’ll milk every single minute of ours! We, too, live together, so having “alone time” after is not exactly essential.
