I haven’t recieved our pro pics yet (SO EXCITED to get them!) but I am already drooling over photo book options. I plan on designing my own album (I’m a graphic designer).
All photo book companies price based on how many pages your album has and I started to wonder how many pages the typical wedding photo book has in it, so I can get a better idea of how much this is going to cost us.
How many pages does your wedding photo book have? Share pictures of your books or page layouts if you have them!

I got a photobook from Photobook America using their popular Groupon. With the Groupon, I got a 106 page, leather bound photobook for around $70. The parents’ books were shorter (about 56 pages) and we payed $35/each

@msfahrenheit: May I ask what dimensions your books were? I want either 12×12 or 10×14. I’m going for a very high end flush-mount book, so mine will definitely cost much more than you paid lol ^^;

@DeathByDesign: I’ve seen an average of 30 pages for flush mount and leather bound.

I think it was 8×11, but I’m not 100%, it may have been larger.

I used the Photobook America groupon for my Parents’ Books – I got 11×11 debossed albums with 70 pages, with the 190gsm photo luster paper – the total cost for each was $35 for the Groupon, $15 additional for the album, and $50 additional for a slipcase. They came out very well for $100 each 🙂

I know I did a much different type of album then you are planning, but mine is 99 pages long and has a LOT of pictures in it. 😀 I’ll be happy to pm the link to you if you would like to see it. 🙂

I’m not sure how big ours is actually?! I should take that baby out, wipe the dust off her, and check it out again. I know with ours I had wished it was larger, but at the time of our wedding we were pretty dog broke and so we didn’t put too much into it, or into photos in general and it does show (wedding regret number uno). That’s awesome that you get to design your own! Did you guys just pay for the rights of the photos then? Congratulations on your very recent nuptials!
