Wowsers!

So, my bridesmaids & mum threw me a shower last weekend. That’s it for me. πŸ™‚

We MAY have some form of a girls night out before the wedding, but that’s it.

@Mrs.tobe: It’ll work out! Just try and book them in early so you know how to plan for your weekends. Time goes fast, and the weekends are the first to go!

@Mrs.tobe: Yikes, that makes it even harder. Good luck scheduling it all – just think, everyone’s doing them out of love for you guys, and they’re usually a ton of fun. (Seriously: I want another shower. Sweets and games and fun… WANT MORE.) πŸ˜›

One shower for me by my mom and sister and one party for both of us from our friends in NC that can’t make it to the wedding…two night before the wedding Fiance and his friends will go out since they will all be in 1 location.  Thats it and I am not sure I could handle much more! πŸ™‚

Wowzas! That’s a lot of parties. I’m a bit jealous, because sometimes I feel like none of my friends really care enough to plan anything.

I am having a shower in June and possibly a bachelorette in July. I’m planning a lot of the Bachelorette, though, since I don’t have official bridesmaids.

@Mrs.tobe: Wow, that’s a whirlwind! Our wedding will be very small & intimate. Originally we said we didn’t want gifts/registries since our families helped out alot paying for the wedding itself plus his have to all fly down from out of state & endure those costs just to come/stay. Well last week his mom decided they should throw us a shower the week before the wedding. This is in addition to bachelor & bachelorette parties we’ll have months in advance, plus night-before girls only hotel wine drinking/boys only backyard bbq at our house if you count that πŸ™‚ So 3 for me.

I’m a couple months behind you- I’m kinda freakin too! Where did the first part of this year go??

2 for sure, maybe 3, showers. (Family/friends shower, fiance’s parents’ church shower, and probably my work will have a little something.)

As far as bachelor/bachelorette parties, not sure. Maybe 1 each. We’re having a destination wedding so that throws a kink in things for those.

I’m getting a shower and a bachelorette weekend, and hopefully FI’s gents will organize some fun (but tame!) boys’ night out.

That’s a lot of parties! Should be fun, though; I know I’m looking forward to mine!
