2 or 3 people, and we still don’t know why. One person had a death in the family, and let us know right away that she couldn’t make it. One person’s husband couldn’t go at the last minute, so she brought her son to keep the number consistent.

We had like 15, and only about 5-6 contacted us. The others have never contacted us or anything. Strange, but yeah very annoying since we paid per head.

I think 4, and we had a cousin and his uninvited girlfriend show up unexpectedly after he said he couldn’t make it so i guess it evened out.. almost.. haha

3 – his Dad was in the ICU and didn’t know if he’d make it
2- work emergency
2 – were “ill” (they have a history of not showing up)
2 – she was in the emerg with a migrane
1 – MIA

We only had two couples decline our invitation, and all that accepted were there.

We also only invited 21 couples.  My headcount for the reception was 39 (some chose not to bring a date, and I invited the pastor and his wife to stay).

We had 6 ‘yes’ RSVPs that didn’t come to the wedding:
2 where the husband was in the hospital
2 where there was a work emergency
2 who have super-hectic lives and forgot that our wedding was Saturday, not Sunday, and showed up a day late, gift in hand, to find out their mistake.  They haven’t stopped apologizing since.
