We are having a backyard wedding with 150 guests.
The food is pretty minimal. Salad, two pasta dishes, bread sticks and the wedding cake for desert.
We are using disposable dinnerware. How many plates ect should I get? I’m guessing big ones for the buffet dinner and small ones for cake.
Edit~ I realize this question sounds funny. 150 guests = 150 plates duh! LOL but I’m thinking we should get extra right?

Yeah, I would get at least 250. Even if I’m not going back for seconds at a buffet, I usually seperate my food into two plates because I dont like when certain foods are close together lol.

i would do 300-big ones just incase people go back for more 200 little ones

Yeah if you are using disposable plates you need at least double the number of the people. Better to have left overs than not enough.

I’d say get atleast 250-300 big ones, but don’t leave them all out at once. Leave about 200 out, and keep the other inside in case of a spill or a breeze that takes some plates across the yard. It’s a good idea to have a few extra stashed out of the way. Maybe 200 little ones and do the same type of thing.
