Mine wasnt a resolution, i just couldnt get into my skinny jeans right before Christmas and that was my last straw!!! I lost 4 lbs from Dec 28th! My total goal was probably 10… I have mostly been counting my calories and a liiiiitttle bit of exercising, and on the 18th my Fiance and I are starting Insanity! I only expect to lose 10 lbs because then I hope to be gaining muscle!

@Corgi-cariad:  That’s awesome that you’re raising money for charity!  That’s great motivation.  Is your SO running with you as well?  That’s also a big help.  My Darling Husband is training with me and literally drags me to the gym when I would rather do anything else, haha.  I haven’t really been following a nutrition plan but I’ve been counting WW points at home which is helping.

Three, which isn’t much BUT I started the Couch to 5k program and am also working on getting better about strength training. The fact that I can run for 5 minutes without stopping now when the idea of doing such a thing horrified me January 1 is a pretty huge accomplishment 😀

2.7 pounds. And I’m scared to weigh in this week because I just feel heavier. I’ve been tracking food for 35 days and have done a combo of 80 miles on the elliptical and treadmill since the beginning of January.

Seriously bums me out.

I’ve lost 17lbs since January 3rd!  And that even includes a week in there that I gained 2.2lbs when my grandma died.

@mkat37:  Yeah he’s training too which is definitely helping! Although we don’t run together (he is 6ft4 and I am 5ft6 so slightly outmatched!) we stretch together and leave the house at the same time (I hate running machines!) which is totally dragging me out when I’d much prefer to be on the sofa!!

When does the ‘enjoying’ part of the running start kicking in?! I feel good afterwards but it’s the DURING part that I’m struggling with!!!

@BP2Be:  Haha, I know eh? Level 1 is hard, but level 2 is brutal!  Planks kill me!

3lbs! Which isn’t very much, but I can tell my clothes are looser, I keep having to pull my pants up when I’m running around in the studio, lol. I’m doing a fitness challenge, so this weekend I’ll be doing new measurements for the halfway point. I’m really curious to see how much has changed.

I wear a pedometer to make sure I’m walking at least 5 miles a day and I attend a few fitness classes in the week. I also try to weight lift at least once a week–I wish it was more, but it’s already hard enough to fit in time to get on the treadmill and the classes.

Only 12lbs more to go!

I lost 7 in Jan, but gained 3 back at the begining of Feb (probably half in water weight) and now I’m back down to having lost 5lbs this year. I want to lose 10-12 more by April.

My weight loss is negative.  I think I’ve gained a few pounds.  My pants are definitely getting a little tighter.  =(

I lost 4 lbs in January and I have lost 3 lbs so far in February. I’ve been trying to lose more by eating healthier and it is really working! I’m so excited, I would really like to lose more than 4 lbs this month. 26 more lbs to go!
