We had to chase down about 10-15% of ours.

I don’t think we really had to chase down any.

Tomorrow is our “respond by” date and we’ve gotten-get THIS shit-12 out of almost 60 RSVP’s back. We’re going to have to track down almost 50. Nine are from FI’s side, the rest are my family and friends.

We mailed our invitations Monday and got our first RSVP today….whoo hoo! I’m taking this as a good sign that I won’t have to chase many people down, fingers crossed.  I find it so rude to not even bother to send a reply, or call at least!

Don’t get your hopes up, maybe you’ll be lucky but in my experience there are always the responsible people in the group who do it right away.  Of those who haven’t sent them there are probably several who have no idea it’s important to do at all, several who can’t make up their mind (and may not until right before the wedding), and several who think you assume they are coming and don’t need to confirm formally.

There are several people who STILL haven’t RSVP-ed for mine, and it was 3 weeks ago, lol.

Yeah you probably will have to chase some people down. I had to contact 4 people last weekend & one still hasn’t gotten back to me on whether she’s coming or not.

I have 6 more (3 couples) that I know are coming but never bothered to RSVP. Seriously, it’s online and really not that difficult!

We had to chase down about 30% of ours, but it was mostly family and people we knew would be there, but we made them RSVP anyway bc it’s online and easier to track if they just take 5 minutes to do it. ๐Ÿ™‚

our deadline is next week.  We are waiting for 28 more people (16 response cards)  I had Fiance text a few of his friends as a friendly reminder..

All of them said that its sitting by the door to mail out and that they keep forgetting to mail it!

I bet its been just sitting around for weeks now.

We invited slightly over 100 guests, and we’re waiting to hear from just a few more. Our deadline is in a week, so I’m guessing we’ll have to chase down one or two.

We had to chase down 10-15 out of about 50 invitations that were sent. Most were from family, a lot of whom said (“You knew we were coming!” – Am I also supposed to magically know what you will be eating?)
