I have an older brother and my husband is the third of four brothers.  I have dated from the birth order spectrum though  – an oldest, an only raised by just a dad, a twin-  I guess everything but another youngest 🙂

I’m the only only child in my ENTIRE family. My mom is one of eight, my dad is one of three and ALL my cousins have at least one sibling. Fiance is a year and a half younger than his brother. (Heh, his brother and I have talked about how he’ll have at least one kid so I can be Aunt Anna!)

I have two younger sisters. He grew up with one younger sister, but when he was in college his dad remarried and they have SIX more kids, who are 1.5 to 12 years old now.

Im the second, but definitely act as the oldest….my older brother has always been the ‘rebel’ and the odd one out.

fiance is the oldest of two boys, and I don’t really understand the dynamic because he has a lot of traits of the youngest as well as the oldest.  He’s a big mam’s boy!

I wrote a research paper in college on birth order…it’s amazing the influence it can have on the way you grow up!

I’m the oldest of 3 girls (my sisters are 18 months and five years younger) marrying an only child.  (And I very much act like an "oldest")

Well, actually he has a younger step sister but that wasn’t until he was a bit older. Oh, and he has 6 half-siblings, but didn’t meet them until just a few years ago.

Like ms tofu, I have 4 sisters, but I’m in position #4 of 5.  The age difference is huge.. imagine having a sister who is 9 years older than you and another sister who is 9 years younger than you.  I also have a 11 and 13 year age difference between my two oldest sisters and me.  I know that my siblings and family have shaped who I am today and my overall personality.  I sometimes wonder what it would have been like if I was born closer to my older sisters or if I had stayed the youngest.  Also a house full of girls can be full of drama and chaos.

My fiance only has one younger sister, and he is the prized boy in the family.  I know that the role as bigger brother has made him into a great person, and he’s so caring and protective.

We are both the youngest of 2! His brother is only 18 months older than him, but my sister is 8 years older than me, so I was more like an only child for a while.

I have two FABULOUS younger sisters…I love them to pieces! Mr. PG has an older brother. (However, older doesn’t always = more wise!)

I have a younger brother and my boo has a younger brother and sister.  I’m the same age as his youngest sibling and 4 years younger than him.  Sometimes he jokes around about it.

Mr. Bruschetta and I are both the younger of two (in his case, two boys; in mine, two girls).  Our older siblings are three years apart fom us.

I have two younger brothers – one is 18 months younger, the other is about 3 years younger – so we’re all pretty close.  My Fiance has an older sister.  I think our birth order definitely shows in our personalities.  I am bossy and he is used to having things done for him/being babied.
