My hair/MU trial is this Saturday so I’ve started collecting some inspiration. I have 3-4 hair styles that I’d like to try but I’m wondering if thats too many (I can narrow it down to 2 if need be).
How many styles are generally included in the trial before the stylists start charging more? I was told the hair trial “starts” at $50 and I’d like to keep it there.

I think you should ask your stylist. I only did one. I was happy with it, so I didn’t need more.

I brought in one picture and didn’t like what he did the first time, so he changed it a bit to something I liked better. So I guess I had 1 1/2 trials. That took about 40 minutes. Like PP said, I’d ask the stylist and keep in mind that it’s probably going to be hard to achieve multiple very different styles in a row because the stylist will have to use hair spray etc to create one look and that will make it difficult to achieve a second, different look. For example, you wouldn’t really be able to do an updo followed by long, loose waves without washing and drying your hair in between.

I just did one, which I loved so that was it. I would definitely call ahead and ask. They are probably not scheduling enough time for more than 2 styles.
I did not like my make-up so I spent the week before my wedding trying to figure something else out. Did 2 other trials before I found someone I liked.
