I had 7 days of “high” readings on the monitor (1st mos using), and DH and I Bd’d every day pretty much until the 5th and 6th day when we were kind of worn out and ended up passing out. We bd’d on 7th day (last night), and then after my peak/egg reading this morning we Bd’d. We had taken a trip to Key West this weekend, which is about 4 hours from where we live. We drove back today and are EXHAUSTED. I’m sitting here, waiting for True Blood to come on, and wondering if we should BD again tonight? What’s the best rule? Should you do it 2x a day when you get peaks/smiley faces? Or are we ok do just BD in the am tomorrow after bding last night and this morning?
I love Bding with DH but the damn monitor and it’s high readings really wore us out this week!!!

funny you should ask because I was going to create a post about this as well I am in a similiar situation 🙂 Here’s to BDing and hoping we get a BFP!!

I was told by both my RE and OB to do it once a day. The man needs about 24 hrs to build the stronger sperm back up. But it never hurts once and awhile; just not twice a day everyday.

The same thing sort of happened with us this month, TONS of high days! (14) We were exhausted, and cranky. But, when we finally got our egg, we just had sex once each egg day, and then stopped. And we got our BFP.

I do every other day during highs and every day on peaks…

My doc said no more than once a day (and even every other day is fine). The guy needs 24 hrs to build up his supply.
We try to DTD every other day during the time leading up to when I think I’ll ovulate and every day when I have a peak.

In the past we have tried to time BD on the last high day before the peak and both peak days.
This month we are going to try to BD each peak and high day. (I usually get 3 high days followed by 2 peak days)
