Just for fun, how many times have yall been a bridesmaid? Are/were those brides in your bridal party?
I’ve only been a bridesmaid once. It was in my cousin’s wedding and I was the Maid/Matron of Honor. She’s now a bridesmaid in my wedding. 🙂

I’ve been a Maid/Matron of Honor once and a bridesmaid once! Neither was in my bridal party, as I didn’t have one – we eloped.

I’m a bridesmaid in my brother’s wedding this December. I didn’t ask his fiancée to be a bridesmaid but she did do a reading at my wedding.

Only once for my high school friend. I didn’t have a bridal party.

I’ve only been a bridesmaid once, in my cousin’s wedding. She was one of my bridesmaids as well! I’m the first in my group of close female friends to be married, and none of them are currently in relationships so I probably won’t be adding to my total in the near future.

Ive been a bridesmaid once (was Maid/Matron of Honor but demoted after bride’s sister and mother threw a tantrum), and an attendant twice and I loved all the experiences. I think its really fun to be involved in your friend’s weddings. Im a Maid/Matron of Honor and a Bridesmaid or Best Man in two weddings next year too. Maid/Matron of Honor wedding I am one of three- she has 13 BMs!!! The other has 6 I think. I have also sang in three ceremonies!
For my wedding, my Maid/Matron of Honor was the one I got booted from being MOH at her wedding 🙂 the year prior. The two weddings coming up the ladies were both BMs in my wedding. For being an attendant- one girl did a reading in my wedding and the other would have been an attendant but was due to give birth like the week before! So obvi she couldnt attend the wedding in general.

Bridesmaid 5 times, 3 of those bridesmaids were in my wedding. One wasn’t even invited to my wedding – no falling out, just not close anymore. One was invited but just as a guest, we aren’t as close anymore and she was pregnant so I don’t think she minded.

I was in a wedding once, as Maid/Matron of Honor. The bride then was Maid/Matron of Honor in a wedding I wasn’t invited to (not a mutual friend) and she remarked what a pain in the ass it was and she hated it. Let’s call her Barb.
So when I got married, I was only having one maid, so I chose another friend, the girl who had introduced me & Fiance. Let’s call her Ivy.
So Barb got so mad at me for choosing Ivy, she snubbed my wedding completely, didn’t even RSVP. As things turned out, Ivy was a fabulous Maid/Matron of Honor, so I made a good choice, but it was a weird time.

Twice!!! I was Maid/Matron of Honor in my childhood best friend’s wedding in 2001 and a Bridesmaid or Best Man in one of my closest friend’s wedding in 2009! My close friend (who I was a Bridesmaid or Best Man for) is the Maid/Matron of Honor in my wedding, I am also her son’s Godmother. She is the only person standing with me. 🙂
I live in Dallas and she lives in Chicago, the wedding is in Kansas City and she has been AMAZING!!!

I’ve been a Bridesmaid or Best Man 3 times and a Maid/Matron of Honor once. I no longer talk to one of the brides (not wedding related) but otherwise all of those brides were in my wedding this last April. And the bride I was the Maid/Matron of Honor for was also my Maid/Matron of Honor.

Twice! Never a Maid/Matron of Honor though.

I’ve been a bridesmaid in 2 weddings, my uncles & my brothers. Neither bride will be a bridesmaid, but my brother will be a groomsmen!

Once – for my cousin. And yes she will be my maid of honor.

Flower girl for my godfather, bridesmaid for my cousin and reader for a good friend.
I was the first to be married out of most of my social circles so I’m not holding out much luck for being a bridesmaid again.

I’m just about to be in my second. Bridesmaid for one, Maid/Matron of Honor this time.
Not engaged yet, but unless something happens, both of the those girls will be asked.
