Just once. We changed the location from northern Michigan (lower peninsula) to where we live, and from 8/24 to 8/23.

Changed date once and city once. It has been the same now, since we decided to move it forward.

We changed locations several times but dates only once.  We were originally going to get married in July 2012 and finally switched it to Oct 2012.  As for location, it went from St Lucia to Punta Cana to Myrtle Beach to Jamaica to Bahamas back to Punta Cana.  We finally ened up with West Palm Beach.

Oh and there was a time when we were seriously thinking about getting married at a local college under their Christmas tree.

Never. We set our date and venue before our engagement and it stayed the same until the day we married.

Changed the date once after we decided we needed more time (from dec this year to next mar) and then almost changed it again when we found a venue we liked that didn’t have our datavailable but didn’t. We’ve only had one definite reception venue but we’ve just changed the ceremony.

We changed our date once, because the church was not available for weddings during Lent 🙁 , and then our location once from the city I currently live to my hometown.

We changed our date and location once. Actually had a venue booked for Aug 4, 2013 but changed venues and changed it to August 23, 2013. Long engagement + indecisiveness=$1,000 deposit loss..ooops

We are on our third try.

8/3/13- Emerald Isle, NC(date changed because it was too close to my brothers wedding 5/11/13.)

5/4/2014- and at this point I don’t think that we have a location set as only half of the family will be able to make it if I have it where I want to.

Te location is such an issue at this point(if we do it in Cape San Blas Florida all of my family can make it but none of his.) and if we do it in NC, all of his family can make it but none of mine can make it..

Just not really sure what to do!

We were pretty indecisive at the beginning of planning.

1. Elopement and a big reception.
– my family kaiboshed that one.

2. Ceremony/dinner with immediate family and then a big reception with the rest of the extended family.

3. After thinking about all the work we would have to put into two events, and the fact that we would essentially be doing the exact same things at the “summer reception”, we decided to just have a full blown wedding and get it done and over with.

Our date changed once, since the most suitable venue was already booked for the date we wanted.  Decided it was easier to change the date (which was only the week before) then find a better venue.

So, not entirely out of the ordinary.
