I scoured the internet and read review after review, but we only looked at one in person.

We had pretty well decided it was the one, and knew for sure after we looked in person.  And we just went back a week ago to meet with the owner, and I really am very pleased with our choice.

I looked online a lot before I made my appointments so I actually only saw 2 total and just picked the one I liked best, I really didn’t have a desire to search anywhere else based on what I had seen online and after we saw our venue we knew it was the one for us.

We physically went and looked at 6, but I’m pretty sure I looked at probably 30-40 online. : /  There was another place that was our first choice but was way more expensive so we went with another but I still love it!

We had the perfect place in mind right off the bat, but found out it would be closed next year for renovations, which was heartbreaking. It had a lot of significance for us (It was the first place he joked about marrying me- before he ever even asked me out!)

We had to look at a LOT of venues on line before we were able to find the 3 we eventually went to look at (it was hard to meet our criteria apparently).

I had happened to go to one with my Maid/Matron of Honor before the Fiance and I had our meeting there, and fell in love. From that point it was game over. 3 weeks later, we put our deposit down.

Four, all in our current city. Then we decided to move the wedding to FI’s hometown and landed on the first one we saw there 🙂

I looked quite a lot online, and then visited three.  When I went to the second one, I knew it was the one, but we still drove out to the third, just to turn straight back because it couldn’t compare!  I was soo happy that the place I love also happened to be the one that was by far the cheapest 🙂

My parents looked at 6 and I saw 3 of them. Where we were married was the last one we saw.

We did some serious online research and then saw five in person. It was the third one we looked at :).

We looked at three in person, and probably 50 online (ruled out for either style/price/size).  When we got to the second one, I knew it was the winner, but Fiance wanted to look at one more just to be sure.  Visiting the third made us realize how perfect the second was, and that was our venue!  It was a pretty easy process for us, now that I think about it.

We looked at 3 in person (browsed a handful more online to see what is out there). There wasn’t a lot around us that wasn’t a “cookie-cutter” banquet/wedding hall. The first place we saw was just awful. The other two were nice but after seeing the place we chose I knew it was the right one.

We researched several online before going to see any. We’d never heard of the one we chose until a friend told me about it. Saw it and loved how nice it was and it was well in the budget.

Well, I thought I wanted to get married at a rose garden at a local cultural center. It was a beautiful space but we started to worry about it being outdoors and raining on us. The deal breaker was that it could only fit 120 and we needed space for around 150. Thus, we went to a bigger venue at an Art Center in town and found a lovely and historical indoor location. It still has plenty of charm and enough space to make me happy. 🙂

We looked at like 5 online and none in person. The only one we wanted was a historical mansion and they only seat 56 for a reception and no longer allow ceremonies on their waterfront veranda which is what we wanted. So now we’re having a tented outdoor ceremony at my house/my parents’ house

We saw three, but ended up going with the very first one we saw.  We were almost positive after seeing it that we would choose it, but we already had appointments at the other two places and Fiance wanted to be sure we had the right place.
