Our wedding venue is on the National Register of Historical Places, and they have a strict “No Stiletto” policy for their wood floors. We’ve passed the word around and have it noted on our wedding website, but I’m sure some people won’t realize and will wear them anyway. We also want people to be comfortable and be able to kick off their shoes, so we’re putting together a flip flop bucket for our guests.
Bees who have bought flip flops for their weddings, how many pairs do you think we should buy for a 140-150 guest list? Dollar Tree has cute ones (in our colors!) in bundles of 48, and I’m wondering if I should get 1 or 2 bundles?

I think it truly depends on your crowd. I did flip flops and read ALL OVER that no one would use them and they’d be left over after the wedding… Totally wrong for my crowd! The flip flops were GONE before we cut the cake. I honestly can’t remember how many I bought so I am NO use to you but I found somewhere online a calculation you should use…..like 25% of your guests will use them… I’d guess I had about 50 pairs and we had approx 175 guests.

I say get one bundle. What % of your guests are men? say 60 men, 70 women and 5 kids. 48 flip flops for 70 women is heaps

@sn2bmrsmntgmry: Thank you!! That’s really helpful 🙂
@KellyLouise: Thanks! I think it’ll probably be about 70 women, so that sounds perfect!
