So far 3 but I’ll have 1 more when my BFF gets married. The most memorable was another one of my best friends but thats mostly because I did a lot of the work for her. It was a quick engagement (engaged in May, married in August) so we had a lot to get done in a short amount of time. After planning her wedding I realized how much I enjoyed it.

Unless you count being the bride, none. Apparently, my husband and I are the friends that aren’t close enough that you’d have them be in the wedding party or usher or anything, we are the nice acquaintance friends who everyone asks to do “b*tch” work like cleaning up or serving… Its actually getting really old because we don’t know how to say, no thanks, we’d rather enjoy the wedding or not come.

3 – and one of them was for someone I hadn’t been close to since high school (this was the summer after I graduated collge).  It was kind of weird.  The other two were great thought. I’ve also been an unofficial helper in one other – her sister was her only bridesmaid, but I helped make invitations, set up the arch, get everything ready, etc.

I’ve been a bridesmaid in 2 weddings.  They were equally memorable; one was for two friends I had known for a long time, and they were the first of my friends to be married.  The other was my sister’s wedding!

1 so far–I was a flower girl at my aunt’s wedding.  I am one of the first of my group of friends to get married, so I haven’t had the chance to be a bridesmaid yet 😛

4 so far, and Maid/Matron of Honor in 1 of those… I may be in 2 more, if the last of my good friends decide to get married and/or have a wedding party at all.  My sister’s wedding was definitely the most fun of all, though.

2 officialy (where we had to buy X dress & X heels), 2 ‘unofficially’ (no specific dress, colour, or walking down the aisle etc but ‘duties’ or helping out).

I was a flower girl when I was younger for my uncle’s wedding, but since then… I’ve been in none! I know that my sister and my best friend plan to include me as a bridesmaid when  they get married..but neither are close to that point in their lives right now.

I’m among the first of my friends to get married, so I’ve been a bridesmaid once.  I anticipate doing it maybe twice more…

so far i have been in 3. the first one was pretty cool because it was my first time and i knew nothing about anything wedding related then. it was also the first wedding i went to where i was the invitee for a good friend and not the date of a b-f.  second one was my sister that was cool, i was Maid/Matron of Honor.  third one was also very memorable because i travelled to New Zealand for it! i was there for a month and it was one of the best trips of my life!  i will be a Bridesmaid or Best Man again shortly after my wedding for another friend who is getting married.
