How many weeks for AF after Mc?

I miscarried naturally, but earlier than you did – at about 7 weeks. I ovulated two weeks later and wound up having an early chemical that cycle, and another the one following it. On the third cycle after my MC, I got pregnant with our rainbow baby, who was born two months ago. I am not sure why I had so many early losses but I do wonder if the two chemicals were because my body just wasn’t quite back in working order after the MC? I will never know. I don’t regret trying right away though – it was healing to do so for me.

I’m really sorry for your loss bee and I hope you get your rainbow baby asap.

I had to use the pills to force my miscarriage at 8 weeks, but that was early October and I just got my period Christmas Eve. It was super wonky too and not regular. Sorry that’s probably not what you want to hear. I think most people get theirs back faster than I did though.

CeeceeBee :  sorry for your loss 🙁

I got my period I believe exactly 30 days after my d&c (missed miscarriage at 12w, baby died at 9w, but I was on progesterone so it might have hidden things). It took my 9 months to get pregnant after but according to the RE I have diminished ovarian reserve and I was also 34.

CeeceeBee :  I had a MC at 7 weeks. I believe it took 4-5 weeks to get a period afterward.

My sister and sister in law both miscarried last December/ January.  They both got pregnant I think the next cycle.

The one who miscarried in December 2017, gave birth in October 2018.

The one who miscarried in January 2018, gave birth November 2018.

I was 9 weeks and I had to have a D&C…and then another one 10 days later. I started charting right away afterward, so I know I did not ovulate that cycle, which is unusual for me but common after MC. I got my period 7 weeks after the 1st D&C, which was 5.5 weeks after the 2nd one that worked. The first period was pretty painful, but the ones since then have been fine. After that, my cycles went back to normal right away. I’m nearing the end of my second cycle TTC again. The first time, we conceived on the first try, so I’m hoping it won’t take too long now.

I’m not on cd 39 and requested meds to jump start my period. They want me to wait until jan 31st.  Sure, no worries! I have plenty of time to waste!!! Tying to conceive isn’t something I’m eager for or anything.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Make sure you feel whatever feelings you need to. Sometimes when a loss is early it isn’t given the same respect it deserves and you need to be able to grieve, or if you’re totally ok, that’s ok too! Whatever you’re feeling is normal. I had a miscarriage at 6 weeks and maybe 5 days? I don’t remember the days exactly. But I ovulated 2 weeks later and was pregnant that cycle without ever getting my period. So I became pregnant 2 weeks after the miscarriage. I had expelled everything from the miscarriage naturally. My now 2 year old is happy and healthy, no complications with that pregnancy. They recommended I wait 2-3 cycles to regulate before becoming pregnant, but when I asked them why, they just said so it’s easier for dating purposes because if you don’t have a period they don’t have the right date to go off of. Well, that wasn’t a good enough reason to me to wait lol. I also can tell when I am ovulating so I very well knew the day or 2 of a window when I conceived. That’s good enough for me haha. But whether you choose to wait or not, I wish you a happy and healthy pregnancy soon. ❤️

So sorry.

I had 3 miscarriages in a row..(became pregnant two weeks after each miscarriage without having a period in between). All at 5w6. I’m 2 months post last mc.

After last mc, I still got period within 4 weeks.

Hoping to try again soon.

So sorry for your loss. Is your doctor tracking your hcg? My loss was at about 9 weeks, my hcg was high, somewhere north of 100,000, and it took a little over 2 months for my hcg to get all the way down and for my period to come back. I got a result of 5 at the doctor’s office and my period started the next day.

I didn’t get pregnant before I got my period back, but as you can see from the replies here there are some people that do. After you have a miscarriage there are a few months where you’re a little more fertile than normal. Sending you good vibes!
