My Fiance and I are only 3 years apart, but he gives me a hard time over it everyday! It’s mostly because he was in his 4th year in the army when I was graduating high school — definitely different life experiences!

My Fiance is 5 years older than me. His mom said he was robing the cradle, ha!

You need a less than a year option! I’m just 10 days younger. ^_^ But my FH’s dad is about to remarry, and his kids make fun of him a ton. When he was 25, his new wife was in 5th grade! It’s crazy how big a difference that was back then, but now that they’re several decades older, it’s just not a big deal.

I am 4 months older!  I know it’s silly, but I’m not crazy about the 4 months when it sounds like I’m a whole year older than him.  🙂

He’s 8 years older than I am.  It sounded like a lot at first, but I’ve always been the kind of person who relates better to people older than I am.  I thought it might be an issue early in our relationship because I was in college and he obviously was not, and our lives were just so different.  But once we got to know each other, I realized that we weren’t really so different after all.  We have so much in common and we make each other so happy.  We’ve been together almost three years now.

He’s 5 1/2 years older.  It really only matters when it comes to pop culture references.

Most of the issues we have with pop culture references are just because I’ve always been a lot more "up" on that stuff than he has.  Mork & Mindy, for example — I used to watch it on Nick at Nite when I was 4 and 5 years old, and I remember it. My SO, 8 years older, has never heard of it.

We are less than a year apart. I’m slightly older- 6 months, linzella, I feel the same way, I know its silly but I don’t like being older either!

He’s 32, I’m 24. It’s a constant source of amusement for us. Especially since he’s very much "young at heart", but I’m what my mom calls an "old soul". I guess we balance each other pretty well. Still, when in doubt we pull the age card.

6 years and 10 months.  I round up to 7 years and he likes to round down to 6 years.
