I’m having my best friend as my MoH and my FI’s sister for a bridesmaid along with another really good friend.  Luckily I only have brothers and no close female cousins- so I wasn’t bullied into having family in it I didn’t want (one of my friends had 11 girls in her bridal party-all relatives and all against her will!)

6! My 2 best friends from high school are my maids of honor and the other 4 bridesmaids are my 2 best friends from college, my aunt and my Future Sister-In-Law. Love them all!

My sister as Maid/Matron of Honor and that’s it. 🙂  My Fiance is one of 10 kids so it was either do a really small bridal party (just one person standing up for each of us) or have a really BIG bridal party.  I opted for small!

We have an 11 person bridal party (including us):

1 Maid/Matron of Honor: My best friend since 6th grade.
2 Bridesmaids: My other 2 best friends since Jr. High. The 4 of us are incredibly close.
1 Bridesmaid or Best Man: FI’s older brother.
2 Groomsmen: FI’s friends. 1 since High School (he’s actually married to one of my bridesmaids) and the other since they worked together 7 years ago.
2 Ushers: My 13 & 14 year old cousins.
1 Ringbearer: My 6 year old cousin. My cousins have been more like my brothers their whole lives.

Well right now I just have one – my sister.  We are having a destination wedding and are waiting to see who can come.  If my FI’s two best friends (who he wants to stand up with him) can come, I will add another girl.  Probably my FI’s sister.

We have 4 each. On my side: local best friend is Maid/Matron of Honor, childhood best friend, high school best friend and another really good current friend are bridesmaids.

On his side: childhood best friend is Best Man, two current best friends and my younger brother are groomsmen.

It was stressful picking my side! I wanted people who are currently in my life, not just people I felt obligated to include. I don’t really have a *best* girlfriend, so I went with the girl I’m closest to right now and who I thought would make a good Maid/Matron of Honor. She has been awesome!

I have 3…my best friend for 20 years is my Maid/Matron of Honor, my close friend from college and then another friend from back home.  My sister was going to be my Maid/Matron of Honor, but she doesn’t support us, so she’s not in the wedding.

I had my sister (MOH) and SIL. My husband had his brother (BM) and my brother.

It was a small wedding, so we wanted to keep it just family.
