Hi

We are paying approx 1500 for 7.5 hours.

Does he have a website so you can check out what he normally charges?

We are paying $1300 (including 4 uplighting LEDs) and thats for only 4 hours. I know it may vary on experience and location. But I’d say $500 would be great! If he is doing it as a gift, I think that would be more than what he’d expect!
What a generous offer!

We are paying $825 for 5 hours. Most of the others we found were upwards of $1200. The reason he was so much cheaper is because he doesn’t attend wedding expos and only relies on word of mouth for advertising.

We’re paying $1050 for 5 hours. About average for NJ/philly area, but I saw some prices as low as $750 here. Apparently, our DJs are going to be on VH1 for a reality show this summer because they’re that good!

I would try to post this same question on a local board. My DJ was $2,850 for 5 hours and then we paid $750 for our cocktail band. So as you can tell it really depends on where you live. In our area you can get the rookie DJ from a company for about $1,200. I would say between $500 – $1,000 depending on what your budget allows.

On another note, I think I need to move! My wedding would have been so much less expensive. 🙂

We paid $1200 for ours, he had lights and was freaking awesome. That paid for his travel to our reception and the whole nite.
