I think that price is great! Obviously the price varies depending on where you are but it sounds good to me

Mine sounds outrageous now, but it’s 200 (including trial and hairstyle for the rehearsal dinner the night before) for hair and 120  (not including trial) for makeup haha

160 for hair and makeup! My photographer does it (she started as a makeup artist)! I think if I want airbrush, it’s 25 more.

maritimebride2016:  that sounds like the deal of a lifetime! I’m paying something close to $600 for just myself (onsite, including trial). I’m in the NYC area though, so everything is crazy expensive. Bridesmaids hair is around $100ish each.

I’m paying $185 (West Michigan) for mine. It includes updo, airbrush makeup and trial.

My makeup (including lashes) is 25 quid, and hair will be around 50 quid. So total = just under $150 Canadian for both.

maritimebride2016:  I would say that’s a great price! I live in Chicago and it is like $400 just for bride hair and makeup. It’s ridiculous.

I formerly worked in cosmetology so one of my girlfriends is doing my makeup and lashes for $60. She’ll do my hair too if I want (and don’t make her do an updo, lol) for a total of $130. Fair i’d say.

Realistically, I could do my own face but I don’t want to stress out about having my liner even.

That’s a great price, I’m struggling to find someone to do hair (no make-up) for less than $100 per person, and that’s not even with travel!

I couldn’t decide if the quotes I had received were expensive or not, but after seeing what you’ve been quoted I’m starting to think they are. A MUA has quoted me AUD$100 per person and a hair stylist has quoted AUD$120 for me and AUD$100 for bridesmaids/mothers/etc. It’s up to my ‘maids whether they do their own or get these things done professionally (at their own cost) but I’m a little concerned the prices are steep. *sigh* confused
