We ended up with a different photographer and we are spending 3000.00 for 10 hours, disk drive with all images and separate one with edited images, two shooters, and an esession. We could have gone cheaper and gotten an incentive like a print with it, but I feel that price includes her awesome talent and peace of mind we will get amazing photos.

$900 for 5 hours of coverage, 500 ish fully edited pictures…I wanted good pictures but I didn’t really feel the need to get thousands of pictures. She tooks some cool film ones as well that have gorgeous lighting

Ours is £1500 which is about $1990 (at current exchange rate). We get every photo she takes (300-400) electronically and she stays until first dance I believe. We also get an engagement photoshoot included. You can pay for extra hours, an additional photographer and printed photo albums but that’s all extra.

We are paying $1800 for two days’ coverage, including a second photographer for one half day (for the ceremony – to get photos of us both getting ready in different places). It also includes engagement photos, an album, etc. The photographer is my cousin though and she’s giving us a big discount.

around $4,200 for 9 hours of coverage (it’s supposed to be 8 hours, but our photographer threw in 1 hour for free because she just raised her prices before we booked), 2 hour engagement shoot.

katiemc28 :  That is a great deal if the photographer’s work is the style that you both want! Just tell him that most wedding photographer prices usually start in the $3500 range for an 8-10hr day and can go all the way up to $20k+, so that’s a wonderful deal, again if you both like the work. Usually when a photographer’s pricing is lower then it’s either because they are newer to the business, just trying to fill in last minute open dates, or it’s a smaller wedding with less time needed for the photographer and they’re basing the rate off of an hourly charge. So, you just have to make sure their pricing is lower for the right reasons and if they are then you’re getting a great deal!

Our photographer is about $8800 for 10 hours with an engagement shoot and magazine style album, one canvas, and access to all pics on a flash drive and online gallery, but we are in a high cost of living area and he is probably one of the best, if not the best wedding photographers I’ve ever seen. We know so many people through friends who can shoot and edit video cheaply so we are saving on the videography and not being fancy about that. We think amazing photography is well worth the splurge!

$1800 for 8 hours of coverage, flashdrive with all the edited images (probably about 400-700), engagement session, full printing rights. If we want a second shooter it’s $300 more, but after discussing that option with her, I think we will be fine with one phtographer.

We’re paying $2000.00+tax for the following:

-Engagement shoot with video

-Photos while we’re getting ready, during the ceremony, and formal shoot after the ceremony

-2 minute teaser/trailer video for our wedding

-Reception video with short clips from getting ready and ceremony

-Twilight shoot fter reception

-USB with all edited full-size images

-Post-wedding shoot (because the photographer wants to do something to add to his portfolio)

I’m considering $2,500 for 6 hours of coverage, which includes all edited photos, three usbs, one 16×20 canvas print, three 5×5 hardcover photo books with 20 pages, and personalized thank you card image file.

We won our engagement shoot from our photographer, so I think that’s pretty fair all the way around. I keep trying to figure out if an extra $500 would be a good idea for 8 hours of coverage, and a few more things – I suppose it will all depend on whether we get a fireworks display or a sparkeler send off.
