Comes with cocktail hour with 8 different cocktails, 8 food buffet stations (hot food station, cold food station, seafood station, meat station, some others, I forget). Then sit down meals of salad, main course (choose between meat, chicken, fish, and veggie), a dessert, coffee, and then cake.

we paid $21.50 per person, anyone under 11 was $5.00.  That included setting up for our ceremony and breakin it down for our  reception.  It didn’t figure in liquor, but covered sodas.   We paid some guy $50.00 to bartend with our booze and whatever was left, we took back to our house (where they partied till 5am).

It also included clean up.  It was a Victorian house, that a ton of my DH’s friends have been married at, great pics, the woman that runs it was great… (her string beans sucked but 90 people at 21.50 … two types of pasta, two types of sauce, salad, chicken, string beans, spinache and she gave us an extra 1/2 hour for free…. not bad not bad at all.

We haven’t decided yet but we’re looking at about $56 per person with this one venue we’re pretty sure we’re going to go with. It includes 5 hour open bar, champagne toast, 2 bottles of wine at each table, cheese display, vegetable crudite, salad, pasta, 3 entree choices, vegetables, starch, soda/coffee/tea, and ice cream for the cake (cake is seperate).

Hard to say because our per head cost, $85, was inclusive of dinner, middle shelf 6-hour open bar, champagne toast, hot and cold appetizers, room rental, gratuitues, service charge, DOC, the use of the venue’s decor, set up/clean up/having all of our stuff and gifts delivered to us, parking, the cost of our two-story bridal suite for the night, and pretty much everything but the kitchen sink. I think by itself, the food might have been around $45-50/head.

Our menu included top sirloin in a demi glace, parmesan crusted tilapia, chicken toscana, a pasta dish I can’t remember, baby greens, tomato and feta salad in champagne vinaigrette, and for apps, chicken tomato crostini, spanokopita, and various cheeses and veggies.

Oh wow – after reading the other answers my price seems really high. Maybe things are just more expensive in Australia?

The drinks and food come with our venue and it’s $165 per person. That includes bubbly and canapes for before the reception, then a three course meal and our choice of two white, two red wines and a dessert wine.

Just under $100pp including all of the china and flatware. We are having a breakfast brunch with baked brioche French toast casserole, two different types of egg tortas, bacon, sausage, homefries w/ peppers and onions, assorted mini scones and pastries, and seasonal fresh fruit. They are also providing the OJ for our ‘make your own mimosa’ bar and a coffee bar. Everyone loves breakfast and the food is insane good. I can’t wait!
