We were able to bring in all our own drinks and spent $1350 for a champagne toast, assorted beer and wine, and our signature drinks (Pisco Sour and Pomegrante Margarita). This money also included all the ingredients to make the drinks, and non-HFCS sodas (like Mexican Coke). This was for 100 guests – we did return quite a bit, if I recall.

Ours is $39 per person for 6 hours open bar. This is the upgraded beer package (more variety beer, wine, liquor) but it also includes all of our tables, gorgeous chairs, and linens from the venue. I believe the regular package is $37 with only bud light and some other domestic (bleh) so I’d pay the extra $2 to upgrade to some local ones as well.
That is $3315 for 85 people…which is what I’m hoping for!

We are going to put 3 bottles of wine on each table of 8 = 1500$ for us…
Then there will be a cash bar available for people with all drinks at 5$ afterwards if people are so inclined – a taboo for many I unterstand but totally normal for our area.
We will probably end up buying 500$ in drink tickets to pass out to people as the night goes on depending on how the rest of the budget goes

I’d like to BUMP this thread to get more current prices…. I picked a BYOB venue thinking we’d save a ton on alchohol but I’m finding it to be a lot more $$ than I thought. How much is your venue charging you a person, for how much booze? If you’re bringing it yourself, how much did you spend?

We are in Australia and we spent just under $4000 for 6 hours for 80 people. It included beer, wine, champagne and cider 🙂
