Along with already purchasing dresses, shoes, and jewlery for all 4 of my BM’s . I’ve been purchasing gifts for my bridemaids here and there throughout the year so it doesn’t feel like a huge hit if i were to buy them all at once.

Do you mean total or per person?

Per person less than $20! I have found awesome deals!

I wanted to spend $50, but ended up spending $77. Yikes! Two of the girls will end up getting bigger gifts because their birthdays are the day after the wedding and I want to give them something, and another will get something added because she’s bent over backwards helping me with EVERYTHING. I hear you on bleeding money!

@Amani: I also felt like the Fiance and I were bleeding money. We ended up spending about 78 dollars on each Bridesmaid or Best Man

i don’t know the norm. we’re spending $100 per person. we have 4 people total to give, which isn’t a lot, and we have a small budget, so we felt like that was a good amount.

i think it helped that my fi was recently in a wedding where he got kind of a crappy gift. after spending so much time and money to be in the wedding, the gift really kind of sucked. i didn’t want our bridal party to think that we didn’t care and put time and effort into their gifts, so they’d know that we appreciate them.

Somewhere around $90 for both the groomsmen and bridesmaids. We had 12 total attendants. We spent a little more on DH’s sister (grooms woman. Couldn’t exactly wear the tux or tie we helped pay for, haha. so she got a fancy pearl necklace)

I found them each a necklace that goes with their dresses at Charming Charlie for $10 and had a silk jewelry pouch made for only $5.  They love them both!!  I did spend a little extra on my maid of honor and got her a larger jewelry roll embroidered with her name on it for $20.  You should find somehting that they will like and use.

I think I’m spending quite a lot on my girls but I am really excited to buy them these things so I don’t mind too much.  For wedding gifts and shower hostess gifts combined, it will be about $150

    -Shower Hostess gift ($15)

    -Tiffany necklace ($100)

    -Pashmina from Etsy ($20)

-flip flops to wear at the reception ($2)

    -Bridesmaid tanks ($5)

The last two are more things that can be used at my wedding so I am not really counting those as part of the “gift”.  The necklace will be worn at the wedding and after as well.

We haven’t picked ’em yet, but I’m aiming for around $50 each, probably in addition to the jewelry for the wedding day.

I’m really hoping to stick around $50 each.

    3 bridesmaids + 3 groomsmen + 3 flower girls + 2 ring bearers = $550!!!!

    Does nothing count?

It’s not in the norm in my cultural to give bridal party gifts so I won’t be, unless you count the bridesmaid clutches that I’ll be giving to the bridesmaids to use instead of bouquets.

I have 6 BMS, so I am for sure hoping to stay under $50. It’s not that I don’t love them enough to pay more, it’s just not the best time for me to be spending $600. 🙂

My bridal party is spoiling me like crazy so we wanted to treat them to a few things as a thank you.

    Spa Day: $150 ea

    Hair/Makeup: $150 ea

    Custom Made Jewelry: $150 ea

They will each be purchasing their own dresses (of their own choosing) so I thought it fair of me to cover their hair and makeup costs.

I voted $50-$100. I am having custom designer earrings made individually for each Bridesmaid or Best Man and am going to contribute $30 to each lady’s hair (which I am requiring). Now that i think about it, it might end up being more than $100, but I’m hoping it doesn’t exceed that amount..
