sillybilly:  about $60 ๐Ÿ˜Š this is for five brideamaids, five groomsmen, and nine random bouttenierres. I’m making my own silk flower bouquets. The local grocery store wanted $350 for all of that.

For real flowers, around $150.  That’s for my larger sized bouquet and my groom’s bout.  We’re doing paper flower for everyone else since most of my bridal party and most of the side of my family have issues with flowers.  It was the one thing I really wanted, so I made sure to have my bouquet.

For our small wedding, I believe it would have been around $1300 for bouquets, boutonnieres and 10 centerpieces. We’re doing this on a budget, so instead we’re using my step-mom’s awesome silk flower design skills for free ๐Ÿ™‚ I loooove floral arraignments and the smell of real flowers and would have spent it in a heartbeat if we had the extra cash.

I was shocked by the prices of flowers, and I intend to order fresh ones from Costco or something. What is helpful is that I don’t plan on elaborate bouquets etc.

sillybilly:  you are going to get a range of answers bc price really depends on the area. I am in Bklyn, NY and I spent $2800 on flowers which is the low end.

it included 17 centerpieces, 4 BMs bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, 2 baskets for the church (not pictured), sweetheart table arrangement, 3 corsages, and 8 boutineres

I spent £500 I don’t know what that is in $. For that we had my bouquet, 3 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, 4 buttonholes for grooms party, 1 corsage, 6 table centrepieces and 6 pew ends for the church. I didn’t spend a lot for the church as I didn’t see the point.

sillybilly: I just paid for the actual flowers, not for florist “labor”. For 5 bouquets, 11ish boutonnieres, I think 5 corsages, 2 alter arrangements and 13 centerpieces, I spent $1300. This was buying flowers from a wholesaler.

We spent about 8K on flowers…that included 14 centerpieces, a variety of arrangements for the head table, cocktail hour arrangements, bar and restroom arrangements, an escort card arrangement, flowers for the cake, my bouquet, 4 bridesmaid’s bouquets, 4 mother/grandmother hand bouquets & boutionnieres for the groom, 4 groomsmen, fathers and grandfathers. Plus two large arrangements for the ceremony. It was a lot of money, but flowers were probably the most important thing to my mom, and she was paying, so we ended up going with a very reputable/high-end florist in our city. Everything came out perfectly.

Here’s a few photos of some of our flowers:

For my bouquet, 4 bouts (1 for hubby, and 3 for groomsmen), 3 bridesmaid bouquets, and a corsage for mother-in-law we spent about $600. Ours are not your traditional flowers as they don’t have any flowers in them at all.

The snowflake bout is my husbands and the blue bead bouts are for the groomsmen. We are doing a vow renewal next December. All of these beauties were purchased from a seller on etsy.

I live in NYC and the lowest quote I got from a florist in the region (outside of the city too) was $2500 for simple flowers. So, we decided to do a custom order through Bloominous. It will be around $1300 for 13 centerpieces, 6 bridesmaid bouquets, and a few small arrangements for cocktail hour. I will also get a paper bouquet for around $150 on Etsy. So we will be getting the flowers and supplies shipped in but we are putting the arrangements together and doing setup ourselves to save some money. Here’s a pic from our trial run!
