I fell in love with $200 Badgley Mischka’s, and waited until I could snag them at 25% off to buy them. They’re so beautiful its worth it!

I ended up buying THREE pair of wedding shoes, but I only ended up wearing two of them. (I wanted to return the other, but that was not possible.) Altogether, I think I paid about $450. I absolutely LOVED the two I ended up wearing, but, in hindsight, since no one really saw them but me, I really could have put that money into a more expensive gown. 🙂

i spent $60, and it’s totally worth it because they’re something i can definitely wear again (and again!).

My dress was FAR less than my grandmom expected, so she told me to go nuts with the shoes.  I found a pair at Nordstrom (gorgeous blue five inch Badgley Mischka’s) that after discounts and coupons came to about $200, and I have no qualms about it. I wanted huge heels, and the expensive ones are just generally better made and more comfortable.  And I’ll wear them lots after the wedding (they’d go perfectly with a dress I’m wearing to a wedding as a guest in Feb, I wish I could wear them before!!).

Plus their height made it so I don’t need hem alterations in my dress.  So that saved $50-100.

My ceremony shoes were about $75, which I consider a bit of a splurge, though I LOVE them and can’t wait to wear them after the wedding. I’m looking at a pair for the reception that are under $20.

I’m not a “shoe girl” either, so I know without a doubt if I ever wear them again it’ll be for another “dress up” occasion and I tend to avoid those. I got mine on sale for less than $40. Considering my wedding budget, no, shoes were NOT going to be my “splurge.” That was my dress and veil. Lol

Trying for under $100, but haven’t decided on shoes yet! I already bought $30 flats in case I need to change shoes though!

I spent $275 for my heels and $75 for my flats. They’re both covered in glass crystals. I wanted Cinderella shoes lol

@yellowshoe: I did the *exact* same thing– got a steal on a sample wedding dress from 2009, but totally splurged on my $500 Jimmy Choos! I adore them and can’t wait to rock them as much as possible following the wedding! I’m glad I’m not the only one who thinks this way, what with all the hoopla about “THE dress” lol

My Pour La Victoire shoes retail for $150, but I found them online for $39.99. Last pair in my size and the color I wanted, too!
