My mom bought my veil – I had a bit of a snafu with it – the original one was $150 (ridiculous, I know, but it was perfect) but it got ruined and my mom felt so bad that she went and replaced it with the closest thing she could find. I’m guessing it was around the same cost.

$37 for earrings from Macy’s – I saw them in an ad on SMP and fell in love with them. I would have bought them for 3x the price, so the fact that they were cheap was awesome.

$83 for a bracelet I couldn’t pass up on Etsy. I will probably never wear it again, but it’s gorgeous and I can pass it down.

$19.99 for sparkly flats from Target.

And I haven’t purchased my hair comb yet, but I’m hoping to keep it under the $40 mark.

Probably looking at 350-400$.  Already spent 200$ on earrings and bracelet, now going to buy the necklace for another 120$ and then I still need shoes and someting for my hair.  Plan on buying inexpensive, cute flats (fiance not much taller than me) and hopefully something simple for my hair…I agree though that it adds up so quickly, it starts to feel never ending!!  I was ok with costume type jewelery but just couldn’t find anything that looked quite right, so ended up paying for pearls!! Beautiful but pricey ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Well thinking about it….

    Hair comb $15 (LOVE EBAY)

    Earrings $69

Bracelet: $0.00 (this has been handed down by my passed Nana)

Shoes: $100 (my shoes came pre-blinged lol so that was the total price for them)

    TOTAL: $184.

Adding it up i personally think i did pretty well!

    Not planning on spending much.

    Tiara: $6

Shoes: plan to spend no mor ethan $30 but i can’t find the shoes I want locally so it might cost more if I buy on the net

Veil: My DIY veil is less than $5… but fi’s cousin offered to let me use her veil as my sometning borrowed.

Jewelry: This is so tough… I am being SUPER picky about my jewelry but I am not going to spend more than $20 (that’s for necklace and earrings).

Bracelet: hopefully not more than $10

Now I am thinking of getting a sash for my dress as my dress is pretty plain and I want as much bling on my wedding day as I can get away with ๐Ÿ™‚

Also going to get some a flower accessory for my hair for the reception but can find that for maybe $2.

So in total: Not more than $100 total for everything.

Other than a pair of antique drop pearl earrings which I am borrowing from my Future Sister-In-Law, the only “bling” I will have is my beaded/pearled sash, which cost me 375$ (second hand). I tend to think that less is more as far as jewelry goes ๐Ÿ™‚

I plan on borrowing jewelry from the jeweler who made my ring (probably diamond drop earrings and maybe a tennis bracelet).

The one veil I’m eyeing is $600, I didn’t even look at the price of the cathedral lengthstyle but I’m pretty set on the shorter one.

I think I’m spending around $500 … the tiara I really love is $260, shoes were $40 but may buy some similarly priced flats for the reception, sash might be a diy, necklace will probably be $200, and bracelet I got (forced?) Fiance to buy for me during our last vacation ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Pronovias bridal sash: 225

    Pearl earrings: 100

    Haute bride bracelet: 200

    Untamed petals hair clip 140

Tried everything on at the fitting last Thursday, can’t wait to wear it all again. I’m hoping to sell the sash and maybe the hair clip after the wedding.

I had what I felt like was tons of bling, but it was all free. I borrowed my earrings, necklace, and bracelet from a friend who had recently gotten married and borrowed my headpiece from a family friend. If you count my shoes (which did have bling on them), it would be about $12. If you count my flip flop reception shoes…about $24 total.

Hrm, guess I spent a lot. None of my jewelry was purchased, all family heirloom type stuff. But my 2 pairs of shoes totaled about $200, and then my tiara was like $150, and I think my veil was also in the ballpark oround $150.
