I was wondering what the typical tip was if your venue didn’t charge gratuity. Ours was awesome enough to let us decide on how much we’d like to tip the servers that night. We also wanted to tip the DJ and the Event coordinator (that came with the venue).
What’s typical here? Obviously the 15% rule can’t apply because well.. that’d be a whole lot of tip per person! lol.
I was thinking $50-$100 for the servers and $100-$150 for the DJ and even coordinator. Not sure what is too much or too little >

Is the DJ a part of the venue? If you are just paying the DJ a certain amount of money I wouldnt think you would need to tip.

I’m tipping our photog $100, and that’s it. We won’t have a DJ & gratuity is included for the servers, bartender & day of coordinator in our package price.

I would like to know as well, because I definitely don’t want to be paying 15%… Egh…
