    I’m just trying to improve my overall health.  I’ve had fewer chances to get out and go hiking, biking, and swimming since I’ve been at college, which I used to do all the time.  The wedding is good motivation to start trying to beat myself back into shape. I don’t really need to lose weight though.

    I’m trying to lose at least 20 pounds… I’m currectly around 192 and would love to be at least 170! I’m working on eating better (eliminating junk food and focusing on eating more fruits and veggies), doing pilates every morning except saturday and sundays but I’m open for any suggestions!!

    I’d like to lose 5 or 10 more pounds.

    I’ve been on some different medications for the last few days and I’ve mysteriously lost like 3 pounds so….I guess that’s good. Always freaky when you change nothing and lose weight.

    I’ve already had my dress altered so I don’t want to lose too much or it’ll be falling off.

    I’d like to lost about 10,….well 8 if we’re going to be exact. And I’d like to tone up a bit. I’d be very happy with that.

    I’m trying to lose 10lbs before the engagement so I can look absolutely gorgeous from then on.

    I work out 4-5 times a week. My general routine is to run 3-5mi, elliptical for about 30 mins (with resistence), ab workouts, and then weight lifting to tone up my arms. (Jump roping is good cardio too)

    I find that it’s POINTLESS to work out if you’re not going to watch your diet. I try to stay under a 1300 calorie diet. NO CARBS, no fried food, no soda, juice etc, and I don’t eat past 6. If I’m starving past 6, I will resort to eating a small piece of fruit or something like that.

    You eat like a queen for breakfest, a commoner for lunch, and a slave for dinner.

    I’m not trying to do anything different for the wedding.  I am trying to get faster and more agile for ultimate and have been keeping up a lifting routine for several years though.  I don’t weigh or measure myself unless absolutely necessary.

    I’ve lost 20 so far and have another 20 to go (by late March/early April). Don’t know if I’ll make it, but my shape has changed and I am definitely firmer.

    I’d like to lose 25 by my wedding, but that won’t be for at least two years. I’m not in any great rush to lose the weight, but I do want to stop gaining.

    I’m 5’7 145 right now and would like to get down to 130 by my first fitting.  I’m not overly concerned with the actual numbers – I just want to turn all my fat into muscle, especially the fat in my belly and hips.

    @Nextvie:

    I went to a nutritionist a few years ago, she told me if you eat fruit past five, that it has so much sugar (even if its natural sugar) that it will make you gain weight if you don’t burn it off! Which, I cut it out past four pm after that and lost 3 pounds in a few weeks

    I’m trying to lose about 3 pounds. 3-5, but realistically, about 3.  I’m really looking to tone up, though! I felt really good over the summer and then slacked off after the weather got worse and I hurt my knee…have to get back to it!  I’ve run twice this week, so I’m on the right track. Baby steps!

    I like sparkpeople.com to track calories and to get recommended calorie ranges…I can go overboard if I’m not careful.

    In Jan, I was hoping to lose about 12-15 pounds.  I’ve already lost about 4.5 so I’m so happy! I have a few months to go.  I think I can do it!
