The dresses are about $156. That includes the dress, cuff, sash, and peek-a-boo skirt. Still havent decided what to do about shoes and I will be giving them jewelry.

They are paying for dress ($195), shoes, and alterations if needed. I am paying for hotel for 2 nights, pedicure/manicure, hair, plus whatever gifts (clutch purse and bracelet so far).

My girls got Ann Taylor dresses for $40.  They are chocolate brown, and I think they’re perfect!  Not sure what we’re doing for shoes yet.  I am also not sure yet if I’m going to pay for their hair/makeup.   I’m on a tight budget as it is, and I feel like it’s a lot to pay for!

My bridesmaids got their JCrew dresses for $97!! They are exactly what I wanted. Normally, if you wait a while and continue to check the sale page, the colors will go on style because they are constantly adding new colors. And even when they say they’re out of a size, you can ususally call and talk with one of the wedding reps. They are super helpful and will help you locate the dress color & size. I still want to do a sash, but I don’t know where to find a good one. I told them they can where whatever shoes they want in a gold/neutral family. Our wedding is more simplistic – so I am not paying for their hair – mani/pedis are a possibility, but I haven’t gotten that far. We are having a destination wedding and we are paying for our bridesmaids and groomsmen’s hotel rooms.

Ours were $125.  Girls paid for them themselves.  I bought them all shoes ($60 a pair) because they were ivory and I didn’t think they’d wear them again… but if they were black I wouldn’t have felt too bad having them buy their own.  My bms didnt want their hair and makeup done… a few of them mentioned how unhappy they were with their looks in previous weddings where there was makeup/hair people, so I just let them do their own thing.

Our dresses were $140 ish.  They are allowed to wear whatever cream shoe they want as long as it isn’t a flip flop.  Otherwise, I don’t care.  One girl is even wearing her wedding shoes.  I gave them the option of having their hair/makeup done, and so far most of them have chosen to have their hair done, but not makeup.  I’m putting together gifts for them.

Just cause I want to throw it out there, I’ve been a bridesmaid in three weddings and never had my dress/shoes bought for me.  Usually I’ve been gifted jewelry and that would be about it.  I think it’s really nice of you ladies to buy your girls dresses/shoes/etc.!

My girls dresses were $209 each, after a lot of bargaining with the dress shop. Problem is the wedding was initially in the winter and the dresses are pretty heavy. They’re black and floor length, very formal. Now that our wedding is in August, I told my girls they can change into LBD’s if they want to after the ceremony and pictures. They’re picking their own shoes, new or not, as long as they are black or gold. Not requiring hair or makeup although we’ll go to a salon for anyone that wants it done.

I’ve been in 3 weddings and all the dresses were in the $200-$250 range. I paid for my own hair and makeup at two of them, though my cousin paid for a certain amount off everyone’s hair (I think maybe $40) because she wanted everyone to get it done. Also, I was just in my friends wedding and she paid for hair and makeup and it was SO NICE that it really makes me want to do it. I’ll see what I can afford- there’s 8 of them!

Our dresses are $85 from Victoria’s Secret.  They have to pay for shoes, but they can be whatever they like as long as they are light colored.  We haven’t decided on hair and make up yet, but most likely we will be having a friend do it so it will be free.

My four bridesmaids each choose their style of dress in a champagne color. They varied from $110-$135 each.

They are paying for their own shoes, hair, makeup, pedicure& manicure. I don’t really mind what they choose as far as their hair styles, make up and shoes. They are all smart ladies and can figure out what looks good together =)

Mine were 160-120 depending on the Bridesmaid or Best Man.  It is an Ann Taylor celebrations dress.  Some of the BMs were able to use a code to get an extra percent off. I picked the dress around July 4th, and tried to get in contact with all of them…some of them missed it when I called them and didn’t get the to order the dress until after the code expired.

My Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses were $136 (including a $20 discount because I bought my gown at the same shop).  They were floor length Alfred Angelo.  the girls each paid for their own dresses, and I told them they could wear whatever silver, strappy shoes they wanted.  I know some girls bought new shoes and some wore shoes they had.  Didn’t matter to me.  We all went to the salon together, but they paid for their services – everyone got their hair done, only my sister and mom got their make-up done, as well.

My Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses were Jim Hjelm. I got a great deal at RKBridal which has a price match policy. They paid $180-190 for the dresses plus shipping and alterations. Shoes were their choice of whatever black strappy sandals they already had, and hair and make-up were my treat.
