I think that sounds very dressed-up and classy.  The only thing I would be concerned about is making sure it doesn’t look too much like a winter wedding in June (flowers should help).  I am doing a similar color scheme only more pink than red, along with ivory, black, and silver; my BMs will wear blush pink dresses w/ black embellished belts, and Groomsmen will wear black suits.

Just as a personal preference I don’t care for the look of a black shirt under a black suit jacket.  That’s a whole lot of black, especially for a June wedding.  Why don’t you just have them wear the classic black/white suit or tuxedo – a red boutonniere will tie everything together.  Everything doesn’t have to match exactly.

I would also change the color of the guys shirt. Also, do you have any pics of the birdcage veil. Black veils always remind me of funerals, but I have seen a few on offbeat bride that were cute, so it would depent on the whole look of it.

I would stick with the classic white shirt.  My FH is wearing white when my dress is a dark ivory, the suit guy had me bring down my dress (as the dingy thing was my fear also), and it didn’t look dingy at all.  You might think about up grading the shirt to a french cuff, then they could wear some really cool cuff links.

I love Black on Black and so does my fiance! He is wearing all black, if you are worried about it being too much black, we really liked the idea of a Charcoal or lighter black tie, it broke up the colors a bit.

I personally think it is too much black.  Why not even add a red shirt instead?  Just a bit of colour.

I like tksjewelry ‘s idea.  I think the black shirt would be too much black, and the red shirt with a black suit reminds of a funeral or Count Dracula.. i don’t know why.  But i think you should bring the dress to the tux place and see how it looks together.

I think if you had mostly black and cream with a few red accents it would be pretty but I wouldn’t put too much red into it..

I think black and black looks stunning. I am definately doing black shirts with black tuxes for my June wedding. We are debating tie/vest colors still. My current options are: black, dark gray/pewter, cream/ivory. My wedding colors are pewter and black. My Fiance likes the idea of black shirts too because he says they are “safer”- he is so afraid he is going to still something on himself before the ceremony!
