We bought our own booze, too!  We also used one of those calculators.  We had plenty of everything except for tequila.  We ran out of that pretty quickly!  Maybe grab an extra bottle just in case?

Wow, I wish I had that tool before my wedding, how useful!  If you’re not doing a champagne toast, I wouldn’t bother replacing that with any other liquor.  Your guests will likely just toast with whatever is in hand, alcoholic or not.

This post is really helpful, thanks! We are providing our own alcohol and are having int he neighborhood of the same number of guests as you, AND our guests like to drink too hehe. For the suggested amounts I’m assuming the bottle sizes are the regular 750ml bottles, not the 1.5L or handles, right? 🙂

Thanks for posting.  I was just trying to figure out this week how much we needed to order. 🙂

This is a really good post – I need to figure this out too! I’m also going for kegs of beer instead of bottles. As another resource, Evite.com has a calculator that allows you to be more specific about the number of people, and it also lets you specify how many light, average, and heavy drinkers:
