You can’t fluff it out, however you might find when you try on YOUR dress and not the sample that its a lot fluffier. You can also add extra Crinnie for pretty cheap ๐Ÿ™‚

@stephanie63087: It should by a little bit. You can always try it on when you go for your fitting.

My bridal consultant told me that getting a full crinny for my dress would bring it up by an inch, making it so that I don’t need any alterations. I believe her, but we’ll see!

Yes a crinoline should take off about an inch. Try it on at a fitting.

Depeding how full the crinoline is, (how many layers it has) it will make the dress shorter

I don’t know, but I can tell you that as the night wore on, my crinoline shrank – we fluffed it until it was perfect at my fittings, but it does NOT stay that way when you’re moving around, taking pictures, sitting through dinner, dancing, etc. And by the end of the night, the bottom of my dress was disgusting, my bustle was ripped out (I stepped on it while dancing), and the dress was a good 3/4 – 1 inch “longer” (really just lower) than it should have been.

So get one that’s full enough on it’s own steam! ๐Ÿ™‚

Another option is to get a hoop skirt instead of crinny, that shouldn’t go flat by the end of the night
