So I’m struggling with how big of a drink dispenser to buy or even how many to get! Wea re having about 100 guests including about 15 kids. I just bought a bunch of 9 oz cups for cocktail hour but I still don’t know how much drink to estimate for.
Help?

1 drink per person per hour. But you have to do the volume math on that one…

Are they heavy or light drinkers? How many different options are you giving? Here’s a drink calculator.

Assuming 1 drink per person per hour, you need 115 drinks for the entire cocktail hour. Each drink is at most 9oz. You’ll need 115*9oz=1035oz = about 8 gallons (128oz/gallon).
If you get a 10gal drink dispenser you’ll have about 25% extra. Really, its probably closer to 30-40% extra since people aren’t going to fill the glass entirely.
