A good bra is priceless ๐
A good bra is priceless ๐
$55-$60
I buy from The Little Bra Company. that’s usually what they run.
Specialty bras are typically expensive. But I will tell you if you take good care of a good bra, it should really last you a long time 5+ years. I have some that aren’t as frequent in the rotation from 10 years ago. But all of my bras are 150+ dollars.
If you have the name of it you can try looking on Ebay and such for ones that are very close to it.
I’ve bought Prima Donna bras which are similar in quality. They run around $130-$200 depending on the style. Another brand which is really good is Elomi and they can be significantly cheaper. I wear a 38HH or 36HH depending on the brand. Bravissimo and brastop are really good online choices as well. Goodluck!
P.s: I live in Alberta and the closest store with these sizes for me is 3+hours travel
Since your size is larger than what most brands carry I think that’s a good price.
I usually spend around 50 bucks on bras at Victoria’s Secret- I am not very nice to them. I’ve been known to spend more at Nordstrom, and I think the most expensive bra I ever bought was $80. Still not too bad, but definitely one to take care of! I would love to spend more on super nice bras, but I need to feel like I’m in a place where my size won’t change and where I will treat them how an expensive bra should be treated. A good bra is the foundation for a good outfit…if the girls look good, you’ll stand a little taller! ๐
I was fitted for 2 bras as a gift from my SO one Christmas. I went to Secrets From Your Sister here in Toronto and it was one of the best experiences I’ve had in a lingere store. It was there I learned that I’m actually a 38F. I didn’t even know bra’s went up to F, G, and so on.
They assistants and sales people were friendly, the setting was very high class and the bras were well made and from places like France and London.
I ended up getting 1 bra for $130 and another for $60 plus tax This was about 3 years ago and I have to say they are STILL the best, most comfortable, and sexiest bras I own.
Think of it as an investment in your body, not just a piece of clothing. My shoulders, back and chest feel better for it. And when you think about it, $200 has covered 3 years so far… Less than $50 a year per bra…
I would pay up to 200 dollars for a bra ๐
I get all my bras from specialty shops ๐ They are SUPER comfortable and Fiance buys them for me because he LOVES them. Every time I wear them he tells me that they are the best fitting bras that I own. (I still have some bras on rotation that I wore when I was younger that were about 20-30 dollars)
Mine are usually around $40, but I would be willing to go up to around $70 for a really good bra.
But I also wear a 42F, so I need quite a bit of help in the boob department. lol.
@priyawouldntwannabeya: 100$ would be my maximum. I already buy at specialized stores because I’m a 30F. I simply wait until their 80$-ish gets on sale and usually there are always size 30 remaining so I can get 6 bras and panties for under 200$. I go to Montreal twice a year just for my bras.
I just recently went to a professional who told me I have been wearing the wrong sized bra for over TWO YEARS. Ugh. Anyways, I am now a 36DDD and I bit the bullet and spent $55 on a bra–and I thought that was breaking the bank. For something like your bra, which you will wear everyday and can transform the way your entire body looks, I guess I would say save up for it and buy it. I look like a different person with this new bra and have treated myself once a week to each color and will be moving on to another style that I liked.
@priyawouldntwannabeya: I had a proper fitting, and was amazed to discover I had been wearing the wrong size! At that particular fitting, I spent $60 on a really pretty bra, and about $50 on a proper strapless bra that stays up. This was a lot of money to me, and way more than I wanted to spend. I found gold in a department store though, once I knew my size, I was able to (finally!) fit myself perfectly and invested a whopping $40 for 2 cute, colourful bras that are super comfortable! Must go back one day and buy more, good, comfortable bras are SO hard to come by!
